Currently, our laying flock consists of a wide variety of heritage breeds that we are testing out to see which will make the cut for our future breeding program which should be in full swing by spring 2024

We love opening up an egg carton and seeing a rainbow of eggs and so we tried to select breeds that would give us a wide range of egg colours from birds that would be winter hardy, strong foragers with easy going temperaments. 

Our layers travel our pasture in their very own mobile chicken chalet where access to fresh forage and fresh air help them to produce high quality, deliciously rich eggs.

We have a limited number of mixed breed hatching eggs and chicks for sale this year. Mixed breed birds are great for new poultry owners or backyard flocks of a few birds. They are more affordable and give folks new to poultry a chance to get to know more about different breed temperaments and traits.
